Jon Jones retires, WWE traveling to Saudi Arabia

There was no bigger story than United States President Donald Trump bombing Iran’s three most significant nuclear sites.
Since pro wrestling connects to everything and everything connects to pro wrestling, there is a pro wrestling connection. WWE is headed to the Middle East later this week, as both SmackDown and Night of Champions will be held in Saudi Arabia.
Speaking with multiple contacts inside WWE, there are no plans to cancel the trip to Saudi Arabia.
Given WWE’s popularity and the company’s robust infrastructure, moving the shows to somewhere in the United States could be accomplished logistically. That would undoubtedly make many people traveling to Saudi feel at a sense of ease. But unless something drastic occurs, both shows are expected to take place as planned.
