The Young Bucks had a front row seat when Hangman Page won the AEW world title last summer at All In.
Despite conspiring against him in that match, the Bucks are two of Hangman’s most ardent supporters. They have shared endless confidence in him since his days in Ring of Honor, so watching Hangman thrive in AEW has been a proud moment for Matt and Nick Jackson.
“Being involved in the main event also gave me the privilege to prop myself up on a guardrail and watch the finish,” Matt Jackson previously shared with Undisputed. “It’s not lost on me how cool it has been to be part of so many of his big moments.”

But the good guy doesn’t always win in professional wrestling.
Earlier this month, Hangman lost a Texas Deathmatch against reigning world champ MJF at Revolution. In addition to being a bloody battle, it was a “last chance” deathmatch. Since Hangman lost, he will never get another shot at the AEW belt.
Prior to his WWE return, Cody Rhodes encountered the same stipulation in AEW. Unable to wrestle for the belt, he later revealed that he regretted that creative decision. With Hangman, it is all too fresh to judge how it will all unfold.
While he wasn’t ringside during the finish at Revolution, Matt Jackson was asked for his thoughts on the Texas Deathmatch.
“AEW has done a fantastic job at making these big blowoff gimmick matches feel dangerous,” said Jackson. “All I know is it’s polarizing and creates a debate.”
As for the latest chapter in Hangman’s career, Jackson sees a world of possibilities.
“The stipulation is interesting,” said Jackson. “Does this mean Hangman might have to drop into our world, find a partner, and go for the tag team titles? Perhaps the TNT title? He’s one of the best in the business at crafting a character and story, so I’ll leave it to him.”
