Moving forward, Seth Rollins is the central figure on Raw
The Raw after WrestleMania has become pivotal for setting up months’ worth of stories.
Two weeks ago, on the night after WrestleMania 41, WWE presented the new alliance of Seth Rollins, Paul Heyman, and Bron Breakker.
Even though neither Rollins or Breakker holds singles gold, Raw is going to be built around them. This is the new top story in WWE, and the way it was presented makes a lot of sense–especially when considering that Paul “Triple H” Levesque booked it.
Triple H’s first breakout moment took place on March 30, 1998–the night after WrestleMania XIV. Blaming Shawn Michaels for “dropping the ball”1 by losing the title to Steve Austin and getting double-crossed by Mike Tyson, Triple H took control of DX. This was the beginning of the company’s “Stone Cold” Steve Austin era, but that Raw was cleverly booked to ensure that Triple H and DX seized the spotlight.
