The next person to join Paul Heyman’s new alliance shouldn’t be predictable.

Based off that logic, it will be a babyface turning heel.

The newest member should also be able to wrestle CM Punk, as Punk’s feud will need someone else to fight as he prolongs his feud with Seth Rollins. This person needs star power–his addition needs to bring extra cachet to the group–but he cannot overshadow Rollins, who is the bona fide leader. Also, he cannot step in the way of Bron Breakker, who is rightfully being positioned as the future of the faction–and the company.

The new Heyman alliance/WWE

The latest addition needs to be able to play off Heyman. It’s a vital role–he will also be The Wrestler of the group. In other hands, this person is filling the Arn Anderson role of The Dangerous Alliance. That began in ’91 when Ric Flair was off in his World Wrestling Federation sojourn.

Without the leader of the Four Horsemen, Anderson branched off and brought a veteran presence to The Dangerous Alliance. With AA prominently involved, the stable had immediate cachet beyond the headliner (Rick Rude) and rising star (“Stunning” Steve Austin1).
